Job Description

• Ensures the medical care and rehabilitation of the ill and injured students and employees of the University are adequate.
• Ensures that services for maintaining and promoting health within the University is effectively delivered according to policies and procedures.
• Assist the University Physician in ensuring that each student and employee had undergone physical examination and their placements are according to their physical capabilities, mental abilities and emotional make-up in the environment which they can perform with an acceptable degree of efficiency and without endangering their own health and safety or that of their own fellow student and employee.
• Ensures that first aid treatment is urgently and carefully administered.
• Ensures that there is continuity of patients care.
• Ensures that the students and employees are properly informed of their physical and laboratory examination results.
• Ensures that primary health prevention is in practice in accordance with the University policy and procedures.
